IndES module
Eco-packaging module for various packaging units
This sustainable packaging system reduces packaging waste and improves productivity when compared to other conventional packaging technologies, such as clam shells, blisters, skin packs, twist ties, cable ties and tapes.
The IndES® Elastic Staple® System securely fastens items such as hardware or toys to backing cards, improving customer interaction with the product. The strong pliable staples stretch to a wide variety of product shapes and sizes. This flexible system can be used as a stand-alone unit or integrated into automated high volume packaging lines to position and securely hold products on a backing card or within a package, such as socks, jewellery, DIY tools, home textiles, kitchen utensils and sporting goods accessories.
The Avery Dennison IndES® Elastic Staple® System is a flexible system that secures items to flat card surfaces or multi-level card packaging designs. It can be used as a stand-alone unit or integrated into automated systems such as TAGSON PS-2/ES, high volume packaging lines to help maximize packaging options for a quick ROI.
It can also create a better view of the product and increase overall shelf appeal. Products are faster, easier and safer to remove from their packaging, further improving customer perception. Finally, the use of Elastic Staples can eliminate excess packaging and reduce the amount of materials for transport. Compared to conventional packaging methods the IndES Elastic Staple System reduces water and energy use, solid waste production and CO2 emissions. It could be instrumental in helping you to achieve your sustainability goals.
Reduce plastic packaging by 99%
• reduce energy consumption up to 4 times (compared to blister packs)
• decrease downtime by reducing time and steps in packaging production
• reduce operator workload
• reduce material costs
Elevate consumer experience
• less packaging improves visuals of the product at the point-of-sale
• faster, easier and safer removal of the product from packaging
• consumers prefer to buy eco friendly packaged products
Features

Double or Single operation
Adjustable needle spacing allows packing products from 15 mm – 160 mm width. The machine can work with one needle (tagging) or two needles (packaging method).

Elastic staples
Elastic staples are stretchable and do not break if the product is thicker than the length of the staples. By using 10,000 IndES staples per roll in comparison to 100 fasteners per clip, the productivity is increased and labour costs may be reduced.

Benefits

Sustainable and eco friendly
The small and lightweight IndES Elastic Staples™ eliminate excess packaging and reduce the amount of transported material. Compared to conventional packaging methods, IndES Elastic Staples reduce water and energy use, solid waste production and C02 emissions.

4x faster
IndES can greatly improve packaging time. A comparison between using manual method with cable tie fastening systems and the automated pneumatic module shows a 4 times increase in productivity per hour.

Automation prevents injuries
With the manual method of tagging a lot of human effort is needed to penetrate trough thick layers. Long-term manual tagging can result in muscle inflammation or even surgeries that reduce productivity.

One machine – different solutions
Install any of the Avery Dennison® pneumatic modules to pack all kinds of products and thicknesses. All Tagson or other tagging/packaging machines can be upgraded with other types of modules and applications.

User-friendly
Avery Dennison engineers have designed a user-friendly module, easy to operate and maintain. No special training is needed and all maintenance can be done by your staff. No worries – our online service centre is ready to help you 24/7.

European Quality
Tagson machines are built with best quality valves, switches, hand-made axis, aluminium racks and stand, PTFE holders, etc. All parts as well as the machine itself have the CE certificate and are Made in Europe from finest premium materials.
