SEMI-PACKAGING MACHINE

PS-2/SAM Semi Automated Packaging Machine

The PS-2/SAM semi-automated pneumatic packaging machine with IndES® Elastic Staple™ Fastening System with either one- or two-needle operation can be used as packaging or tagging method for all kinds of products. System is easy to operate, reliable and a versatile packaging solution which helps manufacturers reduce packaging associated costs and improve productivity.

Elastic Staple Systems are engineered to securely hold products to a backing card or within a package. With fastener lengths ranging from 15 mm to 200 mm and tensile grades ranging from Standard to Heavy Duty, these pliable staples stretch to a wide variety of product shapes and sizes. Products packed with elastic staples increase consumer appeal and reduce plastic waste when compared with conventional fastening systems. They can help a brand owner maximize packaging options for a quick ROI.

Features

Double or Single operation
Double or Single operation
Adjustable needle spacing allows packing products from 15 mm – 200 mm width. The machine can work with one needle (tagging) or two needles (packaging method).
Portable & universal
Portable & universal
PS-2/ES is portable and can be easily transported by a handle. We designed this machine for a wide range of product sizes and shapes.
Energy saving
Energy saving
Only air supply is required to operate the machine. None of the Tagson machines need electricity and are energy-saving.
Safety control
Safety control
Two-hand manual safety control in line with the standards of the European Union.
Elastic staples
Elastic staples
Elastic staples are stretchable and do not break if the product is thicker than the length of the staples. By using 10,000 IndES staples per roll in comparison to 100 fasteners per clip, the productivity is increased and labour costs may be reduced.

Benefits

Sustainable and eco friendly

Sustainable and eco friendly

The small and lightweight IndES Elastic Staples™ eliminate excess packaging and reduce the amount of transported material. Compared to conventional packaging methods, IndES Elastic Staples reduce water and energy use, solid waste production and C02 emissions.
4x faster

4x faster

PS-2/ES can greatly improve packaging time. A comparison between using manual method with cable tie fastening systems and the automated pneumatic machine shows a 4 times increase in productivity per hour.
Automation prevents injuries

Automation prevents injuries

With the manual method of tagging a lot of human effort is needed to penetrate trough thick layers. Long-term manual tagging can result in muscle inflammation or even surgeries that reduce productivity.
